How can you not love these Sunday Night Football player introductions.
Every week, we the viewers are introduced to the starters of each team playing on Sunday Night Football. And every week, there’s always one or two of those intros that really stand out.
This week, it’s Chicago Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent who’s making waves on social media for his player intro, as the undrafted rookie with the fairytale story let everyone know that he attended university at “THEE Shepherd University.”
For those who don’t know by now, the 23-year-old Bagent played his college ball at Division II Shepherd University. He was signed by the Bears following the draft, and miraculously made the team as a backup to Justin Fields.
And when Fields went down with an injury in week 6, it forced Bagent into the starting role for the Bears’ week 7 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders…
And all he did was lead the team to an impressive 30-12 victory.

Funny enough, the man who Bagent is taking over for, Justin Fields, actually attended “THEE Ohio State University,” as all Buckeyes alum like to refer to it during their SNF intros.
