NFL fans are sending prayers up for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland following a scary landing during Thursday’s preseason fixture against the Cleveland Browns.
The player was stretchered off the field with a neck injury after landing on his head while trying to make a catch.
As poor luck would have it, Cleveland wasn’t the only Eagles player to suffer a neck injury on the night, with defensive lineman Moro Ojomo also being taken off for the same reason.
On a brighter note, the Eagles have announced that Cleveland has movement in all his extremities following the scare and fans are expressing relief while offering prayers on the back of the update.

Ojomo also has movement in all of his extremities.
“I haven’t talked to the doctors yet, but it sounds like they’re moving around,” head coach Nick Sirianni remarked. “I don’t know anything else besides that.”
The Eagles had more players injured on the night. Cornerback Zech McPhearson was ruled out of the game in the second quarter after hurting his ankle. Rookie linebacker Nolan Smith and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheus also left with shoulder injuries.
Offensive lineman Josh Andrews exited affairs in the first half with an ankle injury as well.
