Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill are both candidates for the NFL MVP award and they once again proved it on Sunday.
Before they put on a show, Tyreek Hill had something he needed to get off his chest.
Following the coin toss, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver greeted Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell and told him to throw some interceptions and then he greeted the kicker and asked him to miss some field goals.
It was done Tongue-in-cheek.
As it turns out, both Howell and kicker Joey Slye did just that.
Sam Howell completed 12 of 23 passes for 127 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Commanders’ 45-15 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 21 yards and two scores.

Miami Dolphins All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill recorded 157 yards and two touchdowns on five catches. His scores were on 78-yard and 60-yard connections with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the first half. Hill set a career-high with 1,710 yards on 119 receptions in 2022 but has already recorded 1,481 yards on 92 catches in 12 games this season.
The game against the Commanders gave Hill his fifth game with over 150 receiving yards and at least a touchdown in 2023, breaking the NFL single-season record for the most such games.
