Tyreek Hill has shared his thoughts on the Miami Dolphins trading for Chase Claypool.
The Fins have opted to bring in another wide receiver ahead of the weekend, acquiring Claypool from the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick, while they will also be getting a 2025 seventh-round pick from Chicago.
Hill has reacted positively to the development, which is somewhat surprising given the Dolphins already have a ton of mouths to feed on offense.
“Chase Claypool I like it,” he posted on X, adding a smiling emoji.
Claypool came into the NFL as a hot prospect. He recorded 63 catches and 873 receiving yards, scoring nine touchdowns for the Pittsburgh Steelers in his rookie season back in 2020, and logged similar yardage during his second term.

The 25-year-old was traded to Chicago after falling out of favor in Pittsburgh in 2022, but he hasn’t been able to replicate previous form. His spell with the Bears lasted just 11 months, while he played in 10 games.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Claypool functions in a team now boasting one of the best offenses in the NFL. Surely, playing alongside Hill should make his life a whole lot easier.
