Tua Tagovailoa should have an interception to his name, but his new wide receiver made sure it did not happen.
On Sunday, Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill stole a ball from a Patriots defender who had it in his hands for an interception.
The Patriots defensive back on the play was Jack Jones. The rookie out of Arizona State is listed at 5’11”, so it’s no wonder the 5’10” Hill was able to get up over him to snag that ball.
Hill enters his first season with the Miami Dolphins looking to establish some early chemistry with Tua. With Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball in Kansas City last year, Hill came away with 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns. He has 56 touchdowns in his first six seasons — all of which saw him earn Pro Bowl honors.
In addition to Hill, the Dolphins also added Cedric Wilson Jr., Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert, Connor Williams and Terron Armstead to their offense this offseason. This is a unit that is expected to improve after ranking 25th in the NFL last season.
