The NFL is investigating Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill over his alleged assault incident involving an employee at a Miami Beach Marina last week.
According to Andy Slater of FOX Sports 640 in South Florida, the league requested video of the alleged assault from police. Slater also reports that the NFL has sought permission to interview the officers and detective on the investigation:
Hill is accused of slapping a boat employee in the back of the head. The alleged victim decided not to press charges, but this doesn’t fully clear Hill. Miami authorities could still decide to move forward with charges.

The alleged victim is a 57-year-old male. It was also reported that Hill offered the man $200 in hush money, which was reportedly rejected. Obviously, a rather cheap offer for a player with tens of millions of dollars in his bank account.
This isn’t the first time where Hill finds himself in legal trouble. In 2014, he was kicked off the Oklahoma State football team after he was arrested for physically assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal.
In March 2019, Hill was investigated by police for allegations of child abuse after it was learned that his three-year-old son suffered a broken arm. On a leaked audio tape, Espinal was heard telling Hill that their son is afraid of him, to which the wide receiver told her she should be scared of him as well.
A subsequent investigation determined that the child suffered his broken arm in an accident. As a result, Hill did not face criminal charges.
