Eli Apple better watch his back, because Tyreek Hill is coming at him.
The Dolphins receiver was fired up after helping Miami to a 21-19 upset of Buffalo and he had a lot to say once reminded after the game that his team’s next matchup was at Cincinnati for “Thursday Night Football.”
“Can’t wait to go against Eli Apple,” Hill said. “I owe you, boy. I owe you. I’m here. The Cheetah is here. That’s it.”
Kansas City lost to Cincinnati twice in the span of a month, in Week 17 of the NFL season and again in the AFC championship game. The Bengals won both contests by a combined six points.
Apple had a key goal-line tackle on Hill that ended up being decisive in a 27-24 overtime victory. A score would have made it 28-10 Chiefs at halftime and that proved to be huge.
