Tyreek Hill has taken back what he said after the Miami Dolphins closed their season out with a loss and failed to make the playoffs.
The star wide receiver implied his time with the team was done after the Week 18 defeat to the New York Jets, having also withdrawn himself from the game in the fourth quarter.
He has since met with team higher-ups to discuss his future and recently confessed that his comments resulted from frustration.
Hill explained that he is used to winning and had every right to be upset by the way the season ended. He also urged the Fins to sort themselves out on the field and bring in some players who could help the team.
“What y’all had heard at the end of the season was frustration,” he said during a video game stream. “I’ve been winning my whole life, bruh. Y’all don’t understand, I bust my ass every day. I deserve to feel like that; I deserve to have some kind of opinion.
“Y’all just want me to say, ‘Oh well, get ’em next year?’ Nah, f**k that. We’ve got to come back. We got to put some pressure on motherf**kers. Y’all got to fix this s**t, come on. Add some motherf**king dogs in this b**ch. I compete, I love to compete, bruh.”

The wideout led the NFL with 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns last season, making 119 catches. But he was unable to touch the 1,000-yard mark in 2024, totaling just 959 yards. He also registered a career-low six touchdowns.
Despite his comments, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, maintained that the WR was committed to the AFC franchise. It appears that is the case for now, as Hill has admitted that he was simply frustrated after the Dolphins’ disappointing campaign.
Still, the possibility of an offseason trade can’t be ruled out.
