Superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill could be unavailable for selection when the Miami Dolphins play the New England Patriots in this weekend’s Week 8 fixture.
The speedster was not seen at practice this Wednesday, according to Pro Football Network’s Adam Beasley, while teammate Tua Tagovailoa suggested he could be out for the game against the Fins’ divisional rivals.
“If we couldn’t have Tyreek, that would be tough, but the show goes on,” Tagovailoa said in front of reporters. “… Somewhere down the line, we’re going to get Tyreek back.”
Fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle said it was “above my paygrade” when asked if Hill will play in Week 8.
Beasley noted that the wideout could be dealing with something physically. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport also chimed in, sharing that Hill missing the fixture is a possibility.

Hill is the focal point of Miami’s offense and is the reason they’ve won five games out of their first seven this season. He is nearly impossible to stop on his routes due to his incredible speed and it’s pointless assigning single coverage when he’s on the field.
Hill has caught 53 passes for 902 yards and seven touchdowns so far this season. He leads the NFL in receiving yards, touchdown catches, and receiving yards per game with 128.9.
