Tyreek Hill is reported to have tried to bribe the individual he assaulted during an incident that took place on June 18.
It appears it did not take the Miami Dolphins wide receiver very long to realize he had messed up and he tried walking back on it while still at the scene – only the offer he made was just laughable.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s Angie DiMichele, the wideout offered his 57-year-old victim $200 after slapping him.
DiMichele’s report is based on information coming from a supplement to the original police report written up by Miami-Dade police noting that the dispute stemmed from Hill and other persons entering a docked private boat.
The boat captain asked the party to leave before Hill told him “I can buy you and the boat.”

Per the captain, Hill “became enraged and attempted to enter the boat to cause him bodily harm but was held back by unknown associates.”
While he did not identify himself, he said he was the “number 10 from the Miami Dolphins.”
An employee of Kelley Fishing Fleet approached the scene, which is when Hill allegedly slapped him on the back of the neck. Before he left, though, the WR was heard telling an “associate” to give the employee $200, which they did not accept.
Surveillance footage supports the version of events relayed by the captain and the employee in question. The NFL star was subsequently identified in a photo lineup.
An investigation is being undertaken by the State Attorney’s Office. The NFL has not gotten involved.
