Tyler Lockett continues to get better and better each year as he continues to become Russell Wilson’s favorite targets and a certified deep threat in the passing game.
The Seattle Seahawks also has a unique story that he was willing to tell on Adam Schefter’s podcast.
The 27-year-old, who has written a book of poetry called “Reflections” that will go on sale next week, discussed his personal life and revealed that he is actually a virgin.
“I have a girlfriend and she understands what I’m about and loves God as well,” Lockett said. “She’s cool with being able to wait until marriage. So, for me, as long as somebody understands what they’re getting into and respects it, that’s all that matters.
“I think this is a healthier way for me to be able to go about that. I listen to my friends and stuff, and they tell me they wish they didn’t do it.”
Some of last big known player to reveal that they were virgins at the height of his career was Tim Tebow and cornerback Prince Amukamara.
The former Kansas State star caught 10 touchdown passes last year and is already on pace for his first 1,000-yard receiving season this year. Lockett clearly has enough energy for every game. Whatever he’s doing, it is certainly working.
