Two suspects have been taken into FBI custody in connection with the burglary that took place at the residence of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in late 2024.
According to ABC, the two men were arrested in New York City on Tuesday, with one of them said to be linked to the December incident.
Burrow’s home was broken into while he was in Dallas playing the Cowboys in a ‘Monday Night Football’ fixture, with police alerted by model Olivia Ponton, who was in the house at the time. The QB would bemoan the invasion of privacy after rumors of a relationship with the model spread like wildfire in the wake of the reports.
Per the report, the FBI raided a pawn shop in the Diamond District of Manhattan, which led to the arrest of two men who operate an establishment where stolen goods were allegedly fenced.
The men, 43-year-old Dimitriy Nezhinskiy and 48-year-old Juan Villar, are said to have ties to an organized South American theft group and have been charged with conspiracy to receive stolen property.
They are alleged to have bought luxury items linked to burglaries of houses belonging to celebrities and high-profile athletes across the country before selling them from the pawn shop.

“As alleged, the defendants created an illicit market and fueled demand for burglaries by South American Theft Groups and other crews around the country by purchasing stolen watches, jewelry and other luxury items, and then re-selling them in their New York City store,” United States Attorney John Durham said.
