The last couple NFL Drafts have produced an abundance of first-round talent at the wide receiver position, and this year’s expected to be no different. After watching guys like Ceedee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase and Jaylen Waddle take the NFL by storm, it’s no surprise to hear that there are multiple teams looking to move up in the first round tonight, just to get the wideout of their choice.
Every team could use a star wideout, but it seems like there are two clubs in particular who are more desperate that the rest. That would be the Kansas City Chiefs and the GreenBay Packers, both of whom are in the midst of offseason that have seen them lose Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams, respectively.
According to recent reports, the Chiefs are “motivated” to move up, presumabley for a wideout. They have eight picks in the first four rounds following the Hill deal that bagged them multiple picks from the Dolphins.
As for the Packers, they have plenty of draft stock of their own after dealing Adams to the Raiders.
They’re believed to be willing to part with both of their first rounders (22 and 28 overall) in order to get “their receiver of choice.”

USC’s Drake London and Ohio State’s Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson are among the most coveted wideouts available, but it wouldn’t surprise us if both teams had their eye on Jameson Williams, who was widely expected to be the top receiver taken in this draft before his ACL injury in the national championship game.
