The 2022 NFL season has begun and Dolphins fans can’t like what they’re seeing early on from their quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.
For his very first attempt of the day, Tua passed the football…right into the ground. It wasn’t a good look for a QB who’s taken plenty of criticism for his questionable arm-strength and accuracy.
Things can only go up from there, I guess.
The Fins are kicking off their 2022 season against their AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots.
These two teams squared off in week one of last season, with a sophomore Tagovailoa getting the better of the rookie Mac Jones. Tua wasn’t sharp in that one either, completing 16 of 27 attempts for just 202 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a close 17-16 victory.
Both teams’ offenses are expected to be better this season with their young quarterbacks both having an added year of experience.
