Just one year into his first season in the NFL, Tua Tagovailoa is already mixed up in numerous trade rumors because a prominent quarterback is unhappy in his current situation.
Last week, we found out that Deshaun Watson is not thrilled with the Houston Texans front office and has formally asked for a trade to another team. Because of that, teams like the Miami Dolphins have come up in discussions.
If the Dolphins were to engage in those trade talks, Tua would definitely be involved a young QB would be sent to Houston as well as a ton of draft picks.
Tagovailoa appeared this morning on The Dan Patrick Show and the topic of the young quarterback’s status in Miami was brought up.
“That’s something that I can’t control. I don’t have any control over those trade deals and what not,” he said. “But for me, my job is to help our team win games and help our offense contribute to the success of the team.”
“What I can do is continue to work hard and hopefully this upcoming season I’ll do that,” he said.
