The Miami Dolphins quarterback studied jiu-jitsu in the offseason to teach himself how to take less damage while falling in an effort to limit the concussion issues that cut his 2022 season short.
That choice was met with some skepticism but one video shows it is certainly working out for him.
Tua showed off his moves this past Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
If Tagovailoa can stay healthy, he seems primed for a huge year. Perhaps jiu-jitsu will aid him in those efforts.

Tagovailoa was 21 of 31 for 262 yards and has an NFL-leading 1,876 yards passing this season.
Miami is off to a 5-1 start for the first time since 2002 and has now won 15 of its past 17 home games. The Dolphins go into next week’s prime-time showdown at the Philadelphia Eagles off back-to-back home victories.
