Tua Tagovailoa was quite busy over the summer preparing for a new season, but besides him trying to be better at taking hits, he also received some fresh ink.
This week, the Miami Dolphins star quarterback showed off his new full-sleeve arm tattoo on his right arm.
The Dolphins Twitter account shared the pictures.
Earlier this year, the Dolphins exercised the fifth-year option on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s contract. The move guarantees he will be paid $23.2 million in 2024.
Tua is coming off a difficult 2022 season, in which he suffered multiple head injuries, including two stints in the NFL’s concussion protocol that had many people calling for him to retire.
The 25-year-old appeared in 13 games this past season where he threw for 3,548 yards and 25 touchdowns to just eight interceptions.

The Dolphins finished 9–8 and made it to the playoffs, but Tua wasn’t able to play in the game because of a recent concussion as the team lost in the wild-card round to the Buffalo Bills.
Tagovailoa is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason unless both sides can reach an agreement on a contract extension by then. If he has similar type season while staying healthy, Tua should be able to cash in and really become the face of the Dolphins franchise.
