Tua Tagovailoa finally has his number.
On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins announced jersey numbers for incoming rookies and former Alabama QB Tua will be rocking the No. 1.
Tua Tagovailoa tallied 2840 yards with 33 touchdowns in nine games with Alabama before suffering a season-ending hip injury in 2019.
In February, Tagovailoa’s three-month CT scan came back clean and showed his hip fracture had healed and the Dolphins ultimately selected him in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Last season, the Dolphins went 5–11 and finished last in the AFC East, splitting time at QB with Josh Rosen and veteran journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick.
