You may very well be hearing the Polamalu name on your TV soon, but it won’t be in the NFL.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu’s nephew Talati is trying to make a career out of wrestling by trying out for the WWE.
Talati, who is a rising senior offensive lineman at Georgetown, is part of the WWE tryouts in Nashville during SummerSlam week. While on stage, Talati explained he wants to be a role model in the WWE for overweight kids. “Look at me. You can do this. You can do whatever you want, you just got to put the work in,” he said.
Triple H, Big E, and Paul Heyman are scouting talent during the tryouts.
In 2020, Polamalu was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame after an illustrious NFL career.
