Last weekend, Dak Prescott tossed a touchdown pass along with 226 passing yards in the victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and that included a crucial 3rd down play in the 4th quarter where he was flipped near the goal line for a first down.
AT&T Stadium was rocking after that play, and for good reason as that play and the touchdown that followed would help the team get a playoff win, something that has been hard to come by for the franchise since the 90’s.
Hall of famer and former Dallas Cowboys legend Troy Aikman was thrilled for the win and the way Dak played that game. Following the win that led them to the Divisional Round of the playoffs — Aikman shared the text message he sent Dak after the game.
Aikman texted Prescott saying, “First postseason win of many.”
From there, he went on the radio and boasted about Prescott some more.
“He’s going to be the Cowboys’ quarterback for a long time, and he’s going to find himself winning a lot of football games in January going forward,” Aikman said on the radio.
