Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson had an odd game in a loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but nothing seemed more out of place than when ESPN showed his pregame routine.
Before the game, ESPN’s cameras caught Watson going through a pregame routine on the bench with someone who was helping him get locked in to play the Steelers.
ESPN analyst Troy Aikman broke it down during the fourth quarter and tried his best to hold in some laughter, but it did not work
Deshaun Watson and the Browns lost to the Steelers on Monday night to fall to 1-1 on the season. The QB, who is in his second year with Cleveland, did not play well and will likely be punished by the NFL for putting his hands on a ref during a heated moment.
Watson was flagged for unnecessary roughness after he grabbed Steelers linebacker Kwon Alexander’s facemask during a run out of the pocket. Watson was again flagged for a personal foul in the fourth quarter on a scramble. He grabbed linebacker Nick Herbig by the facemask and pushed him down to the ground.
The Browns quarterback later fumbled a ball and Steelers star T.J Watt picked it up and returned it for a touchdown. Pittsburgh went up 26-22 and never looked back.
