Troy Aikman made an interesting comment about Jim Harbaugh’s future during ESPN’s broadcast of the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans Divisional Round game on Saturday.
The Michigan Wolverines head coach is in attendance at M&T Bank Stadium to cheer on his older brother, John Harbaugh and the Ravens. ESPN’s cameras showed Harbaugh watching the game in a suite, which led to Aikman making an interesting comment on the 60-year-old:
“I hope we see him in the NFL next year. He’s gonna make somebody a heckuva football coach. He’s won everywhere he’s been, beginning when he began his coaching career at (the university of) San Diego.”
Harbaugh has completed interviews with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers. However, the Falcons appear to be close to hiring ex-New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick to fill their HC vacancy.
Harbaugh coached the Wolverines to a national championship victory over the Washington Huskies last week. Harbaugh coached the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014, leading them to three NFC title game appearances and a trip to Super Bowl 47.
