The Dallas Cowboys got screwed on tripping penalties on Sunday.
There’s no doubt about that, but what makes the tripping penalties even worse was Mike Pereira watching the slow-mo of the horrible call and actually defending the refs making the call.
Troy Aikman couldn’t take it anymore, so he interrupted Mike and called him out for his statement love on broadcast.
That late game tripping penalty caused the Cowboys to go from a first down on a completed 3rd-and-one to 3rd-and-11 and essentially changing the dynamic of the game after that.
