Back in July 2020, then-Clemson junior quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Anderson women’s soccer player Marissa Mowry got engaged. Lawrence’s proposal took place at the Tigers’ Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina.
The former Clemson star QB is getting set to be selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and plans on tying the knot with his girlfriend as well.
Over the weekend, Mowry celebrated by having a bachelorette pool party with her friends.

Last March, the couple created a COVID-19 relief fund that was initially shut down because of NCAA compliance restrictions but later restored.
The “Trevor Lawrence and Marissa Mowry COVID-19 Relief Fund” aimed to raise money and provide assistance for local Georgia and South Carolina families affected by the ongoing health crisis in the United States.
“We believe as Christians, it is our responsibility to love and serve those around us, especially through this pandemic,” Lawrence said. “We appreciate any and all efforts from you all. Every dollar makes a difference.”
