Trevor Lawrence just gave Chiefs fans some bulletin board material.
The crowd was already going to be loud, but the Jacksonville Jags QB just made sure they will even rowdier after his comments about crowd noise.
Coming off a 27-0 comeback against the Chargers, Lawrence said ‘I can’t imagine’ Arrowhead Stadium will be ‘much louder’ than Jacksonville was during the second half.
He should not have said that.
Back in 2014, a seismologist with the Guinness Book of World records came to Arrowhead as the fan base broke the record as the loudest stadium in the world. They have done in twice. The Chiefs broke the record from 136.5 to 142.2. The recording is equivalent to the sound of a jet engine.
It may sound like two jet engines this weekend.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will play their third straight game on a Saturday when they face the Chiefs in an AFC Divisional playoff contest at Arrowhead Stadium. Saturday games have suited the Jaguars well.
As Mark Long of the Associated Press noted, Lawrence has a 37-0 record in games on a Saturday, dating to his high school days.
However, this is the big boys and the team has a tall task against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
