There’s a slim chance that the Jacksonville Jaguars will be without star quarterback Trevor Lawrence in Sunday’s Week 8 road contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Jaguars updated the team injury report on Friday. As you can see, the Jaguars star signal-caller is listed again listed as questionable with a knee injury.
Lawrence injured his knee in the Jaguars’ Week 6 home win against the Indianapolis Colts. There were doubts that he would play in the club’s Week 7 road game against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football, but T-Law managed to suit up despite being on a short week.
Lawrence certainly didn’t look injured in the contest, rushing for 59 yards on just eight carries to go along with 204 passing yards and a touchdown in a 31-24 Jacksonville victory that moved the team to 5-2 on the season.
Through the Jaguars’ first seven games, the No. 1 pick of the 2021 NFL Draft has a 67.4 completion percentage for 1,643 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions to go along with 206 rushing yards.
