Trevor Lawrence was finally showing why he was looked at as a generational QB, but then he met the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles.
Lawrence threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns, and he was strip-sacked on the final drive of the game to seal the win for the Eagles. It was one of four lost fumbles for the second-year quarterback.
Because of those fumbles, he made some embarrassing history in the Jags’ eight-point loss.
Per ESPN Stats & Info: “Trevor Lawrence lost 4 fumbles today. He’s the first player this century to lose 4 fumbles in a game.”
The Eagles rallied from a 14-0 deficit to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, 29-21 and improve to 4-0. They remain the NFL’s only unbeaten team.
