Jaguars fans are a bunch of clowns…..which is what they will be dressed as come this Sunday.
Jacksonville faithful have taken to social media over the past week to change their Twitter avatars to images of clowns with Shad Khan’s signature curly mustache. The fan base is also taking it a step further when they’ll arrive in Jacksonville in full clown get-up.
“Frustrated fans are revolting against the Jaguars and have Khan in their crosshairs,” reports Mark Long of The Associated Press. “Hundreds, if not thousands, have changed their social media profile pics to a clown donning Khan’s signature mustache. And they’ve started replying to every Jaguars post or live feed with countless clown emojis. Next up: They’re planning to don clown costumes – red rubber noses, face paint and colorful wigs, at the very least – when the Jaguars (2-14) host Indianapolis (9-7) at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday.”
During this Wednesday’s media session, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was asked about Jags fans showing up in a clown suit.
“There’s a lot of diehard Jaguars fans that this is very important to them,” Lawrence told reporters. “Would I do that personally? No I wouldn’t do it, but fans feel how they feel. But it’s hard after this year… I get the frustration.”

The Jacksonville Jags are 2-14 on the year, just one year after going 1-15 that landed them Trevor Lawrence. This time around, there won’t be a Trevor Lawrence type player at the top of the draft, but they will surely get somebody that will help turn this franchise around.
It remains hard to believe that this franchise was just one game from the Super Bowl just five years ago.
