Trevon Diggs has all the confidence in his quarterback.
This past regular season, Prescott tied for the league lead with 15 interceptions and had the worst interception rate of any starter. It’s even worse when you remember he missed several games due to injury. The Cowboys have averaged 32.5 points per game since Prescott returned to the starting lineup in Week 7, yet Prescott has turned the ball over more than any quarterback in the league.
Despite having 14 interceptions in his last eleven games, Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs is still expressing extreme confidence in his QB as he delivered a warning to the rest of the league and his doubters.
“I know what Dak’s going to do,” Diggs said. “I know he’s a winner. …I know he’s going to come back with a stronger game, so I’m never sweating. I’m never tripping. I know Dak is going to lead us to where we need to go.”
Prescott is the first quarterback to lead the league in interceptions despite missing five-plus games.
“We’ve got the right guys in this locker room [that] understand nobody played their best ball, simple as that,” Prescott said, via the Cowboys website. “It starts with myself — being accountable for what you put out there, what you did. From that it’s about understanding that’s not who we are and then moving on and knowing what we’ve got ahead of us: one play at a time, one game at a time.”

If the team wants to avoid a major letdown, they should probably lean heavily on the run game that has been stellar with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.
