Week 2 of Dallas Cowboys training camp is here and fireworks have started.
Trevon Diggs’ highlight reel started, but it wasn’t from a play, but more a moment he had with Dak Prescott.
The $97 million man was spotted on the field talking a massive amount of trash toward quarterback Dak Prescott after a play. It began when quarterback Dak Prescott attempted to escape the rush and run for a touchdown, but he never made it.
Diggs could be heard yelling, “Shut yo (B) (A) up.”
The Cowboys signed two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs to a five-year extension through 2028 last week. This deal also has a reported max value of $104 million and makes Diggs, who was entering the final year of his rookie deal, one of the highest-paid cornerbacks in the NFL.
Now that he has the money, he needs to continue to produce at a high level. If that means talking trash to their own QB, then so be it.

The Cowboys selected Diggs with the No. 51 overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Alabama and he instantly established himself as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL and is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl campaigns in 2021 and 2022.
He also earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2021 after leading the NFL with 11 interceptions.
Having Parsons rushing the QB and Diggs ready to catch everything that comes up his way, the Cowboys’ defense should be good yet again in 2023.
