The Dallas Cowboys are off to a blazing start to begin the 2023 season and Trevon Diggs is a big part of that.
As we all know, injuries to key players can change everything for a team.
Cowboys Trevon Diggs has moved past the label of just a ball-hawk to being a well-rounded, lockdown corner. Unfortunately, his season has taken a turn after he was spotted in practice on crutches after suffering an injury in practice.
Diggs recorded a solo tackle while intercepting a pass and deflecting two others in the Cowboys’ 30-10 win over the Jets in Week 2. He was able to pick off Zach Wilson in the fourth quarter, notching his first interception of the year.
The cornerback came into this season with 17 career interceptions over his first three campaigns in Dallas and he’ll look to build off of Sunday’s strong contest moving forward, but now he has to wait on the results of an MRI.
