If you’ve been on social media within the past 24 hours, then you’ve likely seen the viral post where a guy says 49ers’ Trent Williams has been tipping run and pass plays based on where he has his left foot.
Nobody was worried about Williams headed into the season and they are certainly not worried about him now over a viral foot post.
Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho recently saw the post and took to social media to explain several reasons why him tipping plays do not matter.
Williams has allowed one sack and opponent stuff this season. Even if they looked at his feet, they still have to beat him, and so far, not many can do it successfully.
Back in March 2021, Williams signed a six-year, $138 million with the 49ers that included $55,100,000 guaranteed and a $30,100,000 million is a signing bonus.
The former first-round pick of Washington back in 2010 was eventually traded to the 49ers where he has seemingly found his forever home to plant both his feet at for years to come.
