The San Francisco 49ers made a huge acquisition when they traded for left tackle Trent Williams, but it was met with speculation on whether Richard Sherman would be okay with the move, given their history.
According to Keiana Martin of the team’s official website, Sherman and Williams have already addressed the feud:
“Trent said he and Sherm spoke after that incident and quickly “buried the hatchet.”
He said they’ve built a good relationship over the last 7 years and talk a lot in the offseason.
No drama. All love.”
It was the punch or mush that was heard around the world after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Washington Redskins in the 2012 NFC Wild Card. Williams, who still had his helmet on, walked up to Sherman after the game and mushed his face after exchanging words with him during and after the game.
Now both of the players have bigger things on their mind as they will look to get San Fran back into the Super Bowl and actually win this time around.
