The power of social media will make athletes have to log on and clear things up out of nowhere. As far as this situation goes, it all started when Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, apparently took to Instagram to explain why she shops at Zara and ask how other women can afford to purchase designer things.
Social media took that as her being with a multi-millionaire athlete who isn’t spending money on her as well as making her pay half the rent.
Kelce’s original response, “Y’all crazy if you don’t think I’m lookin out for my baby girl…. She’s independent…. best believe she straight” was deleted. He would re-do it and try again.
“She’s independent… stop acting like I don’t take care of my baby girl!!”
Donna Kelce, the mother of the Chiefs tight end, would jump online and defend his girlfriend from the trolls.
