The relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift has changed a lot for him over the past year.
Kelce has heard how intense the attention on the singer is when she attends football games.
According to Kelce’s longtime best friend, Aric Jones, this has changed nothing for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and their friends. “We stay loyal to ourselves,” he told Page Six about the situation. “We stay loyal to our beginnings, stay true to our roots and who we are.”
Jones further addressed the wave of fame and attention that came with Swift’s presence at Chiefs games.
“I’m never going to downplay [the hype] or to say [the new attention] isn’t the coolest stuff in the world,” Jones told Page Six.
“But, at the same time, all we got to do is be us. And the only thing that’s changed is that there’s a camera in the suite now.”
Travis Kelce and Jones have been friends since elementary school, as they both grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. These days, Jone runs his own lifestyle brand, Homebred Legends.

In the exclusive interview, Jones made it very clear that he loves Taylor Swift.
“Taylor’s great,’ Jones added. “Taylor’s her own woman. And, like, if Taylor wants to participate with us on theme nights, of course, we welcome it.”
“But at the end of the day, just having her there and having her presence there is awesome. She’s there to cheer on her boyfriend and hang out with us, and, to be quite honest, that’s enough.”
After being at the Chiefs’ first two games this season for her 14th and 15th appearances, Swift was absent during Travis Kelce’s away games in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Travis Kelce Returns To Form Without Taylor Swift In Attendance
The downfall of Travis Kelce has been overstated, as he proved last week.
The star Kansas City Chiefs tight end generated seven catches for 89 yards in Sunday’s 17-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
It was easily his best game of the year, and it came without Taylor Swift in attendance.
This game had less to do with her not being there and more to do with Rashee Rice being injured accidentally by Patrick Mahomes.
