Kansas City star Travis Kelce was pictured smoking in his car before his team’s clash with the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday.
The buildup to the game was particularly intriguing because of Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift and the expectation that she would be in attendance, having made appearances for his last two games. She wasn’t, however.
Two days prior to the fixture, the talented tight end was spotted smoking and checking his phone while driving to the Chiefs’ practice facility in his 1970 Chevelle convertible.

While there was no way of telling what Kelce was smoking in his whip, he was spotted buying Dutch Masters mini cigars last week, having celebrated his 34th birthday. Taylor wasn’t around for that either, at least not publicly, with the two-time Super Bowl winner spotted hanging out with friends in a Kansas City parking lot.

Marijuana is legal in many states, while the NFL has softened its stance on the smoking thereof, having raised its threshold for a positive test from 35 nanograms to 150 two years ago. Players also no longer have to take offseason tests.
This isn’t to suggest Kelce sparked up some ganja ahead of practice last week, but he did overcome an in-game injury to help the Chiefs beat Minnesota on the weekend. Just saying…
