Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted in the stands of Globe Life Field for Game 1 of the World Series.
The Texas Rangers star Adolis Garcia crushed a home run in the 11th inning to lift his team to an incredible comeback victory in Game 1 on Friday night but many people were shocked to see the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in Arlington as he had a game at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver just two days away.
Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe thinks that decision was an incredibly bad look.
“It was in Texas. He lives in KANSAS CITY,” he said.
Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson did not think Kelce being at the World Series was harmful.
“What’s wrong with that? You’re not gonna tell me you can’t enjoy yourself on a Friday night,” he said.

Kelce, who grew up in the Cleveland area, has no obvious connection to either team so maybe he just wanted to experience a World Series game. He did attend the NLCS with his brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs were upset by the Broncos on Sunday. Kelce had six catches for 58 yards during the loss to Denver. It was the first time in their last 17 meetings that the Chiefs lost to the Broncos, and it was the first time since 2021 the team didn’t score a touchdown.
Mahomes was reportedly dealing with an illness ahead of the game, and Denver’s defense played one of its best games of the season.
