Football is a violent game, and fans were reminded of that when Patrick Mahomes took a hit that had him wobbling and unable to play any further in the game against the Browns.
Mahomes was forced to miss the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game against the Browns as Chad Henne came in for him.
According to Travis Kelce, Browns players had words following the hit on Mahomes.
“That’s what we do. That’s what we do,” some Browns players said.
Not a good look.
Right now, it appears Mahomes will be fine enough to start next week in the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills.
