Travis Kelce has revealed his bye-week plans amid rumors he could be flying to Argentina to join new girlfriend Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour.
The Kansas City Chiefs star’s version of planning on bye weeks is not making plans for bye weeks.
Speaking to his brother, Jason Kelce, on their ‘New Heights’ podcast, the tight end implied he’s keeping his options open as he “never like[s] to plan things” during such periods.
“You just don’t know how healthy you’re gonna be or how you’re gonna feel whether you’re winning or losing,” he said. “I’m not trying to go and F ing be out and about if we’re out here losing.”
Shannon Sharpe would probably enjoy that last part as he criticized Kelce for going to a World Series game ahead of the Chiefs’ loss to the Denver Broncos last month.
Entertainment Tonight claimed Travis plans to visit Taylor in Argentina during said tour, which starts up again this Thursday.

“Travis is planning to be there to spend time with her,” the publication wrote in October, quoting a source. “Travis and Taylor are very serious about their careers, and the two bond over that and want to show support for each other whenever they can.”
The star pass-catcher insists his only goal is to be ready for his team’s Super Bowl rematch against Jason and the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles.
Travis said he wants to “get as healthy as possible going into arguably the biggest game … on the schedule, he added. “I definitely got the future in mind and got to get this body right.”
