One popular rapper really wants Travis Kelce to take his talents to his favorite NFL team.
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly wants Travis Kelce to suit up for his hometown Cleveland Browns before his NFL career comes to an end.
Kelly, who grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, made a pitch for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to come home on the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast. Kelly promised Kelce $500,000 in cash, a donation of that same amount to both of their high schools, and to have coffee and breakfast delivered to him every day if he agreed to join the Browns.
“I’m sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot, but I would be remiss if due to the nature of our friendship, and just as a Clevelander, if I did not insert this question personally,” Kelly said.
“I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival just for shopping or whatever you want as well as matching that same amount as a donation to both of our high schools, both Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights, as well as every day breakfast and coffee delivery from my restaurant, if you would just come home and put on these colors right here.”
Travis and his brother Jason grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, which is roughly 10 miles from Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Kelce even admitted that playing for the Browns was “the original dream,” but he’s happy in Kansas City.

“It is an intriguing offer, ’cause you know how much we love the east side of Cleveland. The Heights, Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights. You already know, brother,” Kelce said. “I’m not gonna lie, situation’s pretty good in Kansas City.”
The Kelce brothers burst into laughter after Kelly showed his Browns gear in the call.
Kelce joined Kelly on stage earlier this year at the Jam Music Festival in Kansas City.
The Chiefs, who are the reigning Super Bowl champions, hold an 8–3 record and sit in the second AFC playoff spot. The 7–4 Browns, on the other hand, sit in the third AFC North spot and are currently the No. 6 playoff seed.
They have a dominant defense that has been carrying them all year and will be asked to do more as Deshaun Watson is out for the year.
