The Kansas City Chiefs may have outlasted the hapless New England Patriots in Foxborough on Sunday afternoon, but wide receiver Kadarius Toney again made headlines for the wrong reasons.
One week after his costly offside penalty in last Sunday’s 20-17 home loss to the Buffalo Bills, Toney committed another careless mistake that left quarterback Patrick Mahomes visibly angry once again.
Toney bobbled an easy pass from Mahomes that led to an interception for the Patriots, leading to another sideline blowup from KC’s star QB:
To his credit, tight end Travis Kelce displayed remarkable leadership by showing support to Toney as the Chiefs walked off the field following their 20-17 victory:

Say what you want about Toney and KC’s struggling offense, but Kelce is being a model teammate and leader there. Kelce clearly meant it earlier this week when he said he had “faith in” Toney.
