Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is reportedly getting way more money to promote Pfizer than he gets paid to play football, according to a very reputable source.
The Chiefs tight end, who, along with Patrick Mahomes, has been at the heart of the team’s success over the last several years, is set to make $14 million this year based on the four-year deal he signed with the reigning Super Bowl champs.
It’s been reported that the TE has been paid $20 million for Pfizer commercials, $6 million more than what he’s making as an NFL player in 2023.
Kelce’s decision to promote said vaccine has been the cause of some controversy. He was the subject of a cheeky dig from Aaron Rodgers, who referred to him as “Mr. Pfizer” while speaking on ‘The Pat Mcafee Show’ earlier this year.
He has also been subjected to lots of criticism, with UFC President Dana White being one of the latest high-profile individuals to bash Kelce over his involvement with Pfizer.

“I don’t know why – unless he’s a believer – why would you promote that garbage? I don’t know why you would do it,” White said recently. “It’s pretty F- ing obvious we don’t need it. But like I say, to each his own, man.”
Well, he’s making $20 million. At least according to the claims. So there’s your reason.
