As Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift continues to dominate the headlines, his former flame Kayla Nicole has a message she wants to get out.
Nicole dated Kelce for several years before the popular couple ultimately broke up sometime last year.
On Monday, Nicole released a powerful “letter” in her latest video on Instagram.
“Hey guys, Kayla here. It’s always been really important for me to use my platform not to create division but to elevate and unite women – black women specifically. So I prepared a letter and I would like to share it with you today,” she wrote.
Nicole attended Chiefs games while dating Kelce and spent a ton of time with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. However, it seems that friendship is over as she notably unfollowed them both on Instagram.

Swift has supported Kelce on gameday following her highly publicized appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 24. She attended the Jets-Chiefs game at MetLife but did not show up to US Bank Stadium when they faced the Vikings.
The Kansas City Chiefs are now 4-1 and on a four-game winning streak since dropping home opener to the Detroit Lions, a game in which Kelce missed due to injury. Next up is a game against the lowly Denver Broncos who are trending in the wrong direction.
