Travis Kelce is one of those athletes who is just naturally funny because of his huge personality, so naturally, he would be good at doing something like hosting SNL.
Before he gets ready to host the show, the SNL released a hilarious skit to promote the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s appearance on the show. It was an Indiana Jones parody.
Kelce dons a full Indiana Jones costume as he plays pretend with SNL cast member Marcello Hernández in the show’s recording studio. Kelce can be seen removing the treasure, which is an SNL logo and replacing it with the Lombardi Trophy, which unfortunately triggers a booby trap.
Kelce announced he would be hosting SNL during a taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Kelce will host this Saturday night’s episode alongside musical guest Kelsea Ballerini. It was back in September when he tweeted that going on SNL would “be a dream come true.” Fast forward to March and the eight-time Pro Bowl selection is set to make that dream a reality.
