Travis Kelce really wanted to address the United States of America.
The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end hilariously walked up to the microphone to speak during the team’s visit to the White House to celebrate its Super Bowl victory, but quarterback Patrick Mahomes quickly shut him down.
This week, Kelce revealed the three words he wanted to say.
“He usually addresses the nation to ‘my fellow Americans’ and that’s all I wanted to say,” Kelce said on his podcast.
Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce felt like his brother missed a major opportunity to lead with “My fellow Americans.”
“If you would have started off with ‘My fellow Americans,’ that would have been such a showstopper,” he said on the podcast. “I don’t think they would have kicked you off. If somebody gets up to the podium and says, ‘My fellow Americans,’ it’s immediately like, ‘What’s this dude about say?'”

You cannot blame Mahomes for his defense on Kelce since the tight end became known for jumping on the microphone and saying anything he wanted to, especially during the playoffs.
During the regular season, Kelce posted 1,338 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 78.7 yards per game. His 110 receptions were also a team high by over 30 catches.
