Travis Kelce was at AT&T Stadium on Friday to watch Cincinnati and Alabama in the first of the day’s 2 College Football Playoff semifinals.
Before he became a star in the NFL, the 7-time Pro Bowler was a former 2-star recruit from the Cleveland area that ultimately landed at Cincinnati. Way back in 2012, he recorded 722 yards and 8 touchdowns before being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Unfortunately for him, the Bearcats did not put on a good showing as they fell 27-6 with both Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes in attendance.
Afterwards, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to Twitter to give his salty response.
“Let’s be honest tho,” Kelce tweeted. “Bama didn’t impress anyone tonight. They played good enough.”

Alabama’s Brian Robinson ran for a career-high 204 yards while Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young threw three touchdown passes. Young completed 17 of 28 passes for 181 yards in the playoff game.
That defense kept Desmond Ridder and the offense completely out of the end zone all night long. Ridder was sacked six times and finished 17-of-32 passing for 144 yards.
