Travis Kelce has opened up on his relationship with Taylor Swift as he’s told the Wall Street Journal how he hooked up with the pop sensation.
FOX’s Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson have been credited with helping set the Chiefs tight end up with Taylor. But it appears he was getting along fine enough on his own and likely didn’t need any help from them as some of her relatives laid the groundwork.
According to Travis, the singer got a locker room to herself when she visited the Arrowhead Stadium for a concert, and her cousins ended up taking photos in front of his locker.
“She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but…when she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures…in front of my locker,” he told WSJ.
The two-time Super Bowl winner had previously lamented over a failed attempt to get close to Swift prior to a concert, revealing he got snubbed as she doesn’t speak to anyone before she performs in order to preserve her voice.
Things eventually worked out.

“When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there,” Kelce explained.
Taylor is expected to be in attendance when the Chiefs play the Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch this Monday.
