Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce did not disappointment as the host of “Saturday Night Live” last night.
Kelce got the audience laughing with some hilarious jokes as always. This included a friendly jab at brother, Jason Kelce, who was in the audience last night. The crowd got a kick out of Travis stating that Jason agreeing on the controversial James Bradberry holding call that essentially ruined Philadelphia’s chances of winning the game.
Perhaps the best part of the monologue? In the intro of the monologue, Kelce also performed a perfect impression of teammate Patrick Mahomes’ so-called “frog” voice:
Well, that’s one way of making a case for being the host of a future SNL episode.
Kelce and the Chiefs outlasted the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl 57. Kelce was the Chiefs’ leading receiver in the big game, racking up six catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Mahomes, however, was named Super Bowl 57 MVP after completing 21 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns.
Jason and the Eagles won Super Bowl 52 in the 2017 season, defeating the New England Patriots 41-33 in the big game. Unfortunately for the Kelce family, there was only room for one brother to win a second ring.
