In a video taken nearly seven years ago, Travis Kelce played ‘Kiss, Marry, Kill’ with Taylor Swift as an option.
While promoting his E! Network reality series Catching Kelce in 2016, the Kansas City Chiefs football star played several rounds of the game “Kiss, Marry, Kill” in an interview with Afterbuzz TV. He was given the choice of Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Swift.
“Damn, that’s messed up,” Kelce said after hearing his options. “I don’t want to kill any of them. Ariana, unfortunately. Love you, but you’re gone.”
Kelce then added, “Taylor Swift would be the kiss.”
The Kansas City Chiefs star chose Katy Perry to marry.
“And what’s the last one? Katy Perry? Yeah, Katy Perry would be the marry.”

While Swift technically came in second to Perry in the 2016 game, Kelce’s answer would likely be different today. Reports surfaced earlier this month that he has been spending time with the singer after attending her Eras Tour concert earlier this summer.
Swift attended Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium days after Kelce revealed that he had invited her while appearing on The Pat McAfee Show podcast, teasing that he “threw the ball in her court” after seeing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour in July when he tied to hand her a friendship bracelet with his number on it.
As for whether Kelce choosing to “marry” Perry back in 2016 will cause tension between the potential couple, it’s unlikely.
Swift and Perry initially feuded when Perry allegedly tried to hire some of Swift’s dancers, which inspired Swift’s 2014 hit “Bad Blood,” but they would later work things out.
