Travis Kelce has become such a pop culture phenomenon in the past year and many have been left wondering if he was preparing for his life outside of football.
Travis Kelce has arrived at a cold Highmark Stadium as his Kansas City Chiefs team gears up to play the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs on Sunday night.
This could very well be his last game played depending on how the divisional playoff game plays out against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.
According to Michele Tafoya, the veteran player is ready to hang up his cleats.
The reporter told CBSSportsRadio that she expects Kelce to retire following the 2023 season.
“I think he’s looking at future plans,” Tafoya said. “I could totally see those two doing a Payton and Eli Manning sort of gig maybe on Peacock.”
She even stated that both Kelce could retire together this offseason.

This shocking news comes amid news that his brother Jason Kelce will also retire following the team’s first-round exit from the playoffs.
While this rumor has popped up just before the Chiefs matchup against the Bills, Kelce has already been asked about this possibility recently and the tight end didn’t seem like he’s ready to hang up his cleats yet.
“I just have no reason to stop playing football, man. I love it,” Kelce said. “We still have success (and) come in with the right mindset. I just love the challenge it brings me to be at my best. Like I said, I have no desire to stop anytime soon.”
This past regular season, Kelce finished just shy of 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since the 2015 season. However, he was only 16 yards away as he decided not to play in the team’s final game of the year.
